Round Two: 24 Weeks + Name Game!

Merry Merry Christmas to all! This seemed like such a busy holiday this year but I think it's mostly because I was so tired all the time. Not to mention all the cookies, sweets and delish savory foods. Far too much as usual and it shows on my bump! None the less we had such a great time visiting my family back in Waukesha and can't wait to do it all over again this weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Casey's.

When we were pregnant with Sloane we used Christmas to share the news of her being a girl with hiding a pink ornament on the Christmas tree. Since finding out sooner with #2 we couldn't do that again. We couldn't imagine holding that in for a whole month! So instead we decide to share a new little secret. We had a name picked out! We knew ahead of time with Sloane as well what we were going to name her and by sharing it with everyone we never felt like we missed out on anything or that it lessened our excitement when she arrived. So we figured, why not again!

We had bought pink charms for our mothers and their charm bracelets and thought, why not wrap them and label them with "To: Nana/Grandma From:{Insert New Kiddos Name}" We then put them in a gift bag so they wouldn't see it right away. It was so much fun to see them open it and find our little surprise!

So without further hesitation....

We can't meet to meet our little Blair Ellison and introduce her to the world! Sloane has even taken to calling her Baby Blair in Mama's Belly... although she still says she has a baby brother in Mom's belly, so that is funny and freaky... what if?! HA! There is no big story behind selecting the name other than I had to write it out about a thousand times with different middle names and with or without the "E" on the end of Blair before finally making up our minds! :) Now we adore it!
