Nearly Bieri

At the beginning of March we got to kick off the wedding festivities and parties for Auntie J! Myself, Sarah, the Moms and Aunt's all contributed to making Jenny's shower outstanding. We had it at Great Northern Distilling, catering by family and Copp's foods, dessert from Zest Bakery and the signature drink of the event created and served by, of course, Great Northern Distilling. The Nearly Bieri Blush was a big hit, even if I did get nervous and spell "neary" on the message board!

11 Months: Teething Much?!

Teething much?! Look at those rosy cheeks and button nose. The minute this poor little lady gets over one tooth, another starts popping, she certainly has a mouth full. He poor cheeks and chin are raw, he nose is constantly running and fingers crossed all this drainage doesn't lead to an ear infection.

Spring is on the Way!

Fall has always been our favorite season, that's why we got married in the fall. But with the addition of our little ladies in the spring and a couple long coupled up winters, spring is becoming a slow favorite. There are so many fun holidays and adventures to be have with kiddos, once the snow begins to melt and the sun comes out. While Blair took a nap Sloane and I had some art time. She is starting to use scissors now and doing such a great job following instructions. I love creating new things with her. Here is our latest, a little St. Patricks fun.

When we found Chris had a vacation day the Friday before my annual Girls Weekend, we decided to make a day trip to Madison for some lunch, fun and Costco. Because, when in Madison. Here we are the Madison zoo. It was our first time there and we can't believe how nice it is, especially for FREE zoo! We had such a great time.

On to Costco...

Since my Girls Weekend was in WI-Dells and starting on Saturday, I decided to spend some quality time Friday night with my friend Mirannda who lives in Madison. It was just the relaxing time we needed. A little brewery trip and tasting, and wine, pizza and movies that night. Loved every minute of it.

Then the next day it was on to The Dells for Girls Weekend! Wine, cheese, beer, casinos, food & friends. Everything a great Girls Weekend is made of. Love these ladies!

I couldn't resist... the distillery was fun... but not for all of us!

Then of course there was March Madness, after taking the year off with being preggo again, it was time to get back at it. Thank goodness we have great friends to help us give'er! Tequila anyone!?

10 months: Unique

So as the 10 month marker hit, all I could think was "Blair is going to start walking this month". Great! What in the world was I going to do when she became mobile!

10 months seems a bit early to be concerned over walking, but low and behold, Sloane started walking when she was 10 months. So with nothing else to compare it to, thats what I expected of Blair. Thank goodness Blair is her own unique little lady!! She is not even close to walking yet. For mom's sanity I'm thankful, for Auntie J's upcoming wedding though, we are getting a bit nervous that she won't be walking by then.

It's all good. Onward.

Ps. Look at that smile....
