We always have so much fun around the holiday time and it's only getting better as the kiddos get older. The one thing that never gets easier though (for us anyway) is Christmas lights! Finally after 5 years of child bearing and babysitting while dad hangs the lights, Chris finally let me back up the ladder. How do you carry light hooks without any good pockets? You throw your jacket on backwards and use to hood! Duh! Felt pretty foolish, but worked like a charm!
Every year St. Nick is the time our family writes our letters for Santa and leave them in the magic mailbox. Sloane helped fill out Blair's Christmas list this year for her... she's such a nice sister... or is she?
Another favorite tradition of ours is decorating & exchanging cookies with our friends. For years we've been doing this with our girlfriends and with the onset of kiddos it's grown into a full raging Christmas party filled with joy, treats and love.
We also got together with Cooper and Brady for a little spoon licking, no pants party, Christmas fun!
And what's the holiday season with out seeing Santa! Chris' work puts on a kids Christmas party every year, including a visit AND early present from the big guy himself! Blair was still a little shy about Santa this year, but there is always next year.
Thanks to Uncle Craig, Keegan and Sloane had the opportunity to be movie stars for a day. A friend of his in the marketing industry needed to cast a 4-5 year old, blonde or red-headed boy or girl for a holiday promo video they were shooting. When Craig mentioned he had both they decided to take both kiddos as "twins". They got a fun (and cold) day getting to play dressup, having makeup done and acting. They were the family from the past, and the other little boy in these pictures with them was going to be the grown up in the present day. It was a longer day than we thought and snacks were running low, but both of the little divas made it through. Oh, and Auntie J and Uncle Craig were their Mom and Dad! Fun day full of memories!

Last but not least, how do you work your way up to Christmas without a holiday school program!? Both of the girls we're adorable, and it was so great seeing Blair interacting and trying to dance this year. We've said it before and we'll say it again, they are growing up way too fast!
