Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful and beautiful Easter weekend back at Nana and Papa Wendorf's this year. The holidays are becoming so much fun as Sloane gets older and can participate in existing and new family traditions. The appeal of dying Easter eggs faded as I got older and most Easters I remember being in Florida visiting my grandparents, so it was so much fun to see something as simple as dying eggs delight Sloane. Nana found a way to swirl dye in shaving cream and then roll the eggs through. A bit messy on the itty bitty fingers but super fun.

Another new and exciting adventure for Sloane was an Easter Egg Hunt! Sloane raced around the yard screaming and squealing each time she saw a new egg. She was a competitive natural! NO CLUE where she gets that from!

Macy is up and walking a storm now a days.
One more year and things will officially be wild at the holidays!

Lastly was a visit from the Easter bunny and Easter service! Sloane saw Minnie Mouse right away and she hasn't let her go since! Other favorites were the goldfish and rubber baby chick. She also got a egg with some flower seeds inside and has been helping Mom water it every day and waiting for it to grow.

How can you not love our mini fashionista!?!
