House a Home: 2013 Before and After

2013 was a fun year for projects. 2014 may be cut back a little more. Not to say I don't have huge list of "love to do's", we just don't have the "love to do" budget for all my thoughts!

Here are the before and afters of 2013.

Lastly, we grew a lot in 2013 and there's only more to come. Thanks to this wall hung ruler, we can keep track of the growth, the physical growth anyway!

So what's ahead for 2014? (Chris, this is where you stop reading) I've got projects big and small in mind. Some for this year perhaps and some that are way long term. Here's a rough list in no particular order.

1. Laundry Room 

Short Term: Paint Cabinets, Paint Walls, Re-Organize coat & show areas, Wall Mounted Drying Rack,  Long Term: New Floor Tile and a Counter Top over the Washer and Dryer.

2. Master Bedroom

Short Term: Accessorize, Lamps, Accent Rug

Long Term: Paint & Wall Display

3. Master Bathroom

Short Term: Dream

Long Term: New Floor Tile, Wall Tile, Built-in between the sinks. Framed Mirrors and New Lighting

4. Basement

Short Term: Organize & build storage unit for Sloane's toys.

4. Kitchen & Family Room

Short Term: New Curtains, made or bought

Long Term: Stop thinking about it

5. Living Room

Turn into Sitting Room/Library….in my dreams
